Turn any surface into a magnetically attractive surface with this self-adhesive ferrous tape. The strip is uncoated (brown) on the non-adhesive side and is ideal for running around a wall to make a surface that magnets will stick to. Use with small but powerful Neodymium magnets to create stunning displays at home, in the office or at school and never have to use fiddly drawing pins again.

When a steel surface is required, the ferrous strip is a great alternative. It is flexible yet has a high concentration of iron that all magnetic strip and low-profil magnets will attract to.

Simply roll out and cut to length to hold magnetic signage, magnetic display graphics or use with magnetic strip as a closure. Can be custom cut, scored, or score-cut same as magnetic strip.

Product Characteristics

Ferrous Strip, Ferrous foils are covered with a plastic film and have been treated with iron particles to achieve an magnetically adhesive effect. It is not the same as a full metallic surface, such as refrigerators. Therefore, we recommend that our customers only use neodymium magnets in conjunction with our steel foils. Only these magnets generate enough power to keep magnetic notes, photos, etc. on the steel foil.

Magnet force

The forces have been determined at room temperature on a plate in polished steel (S235JR according to DIN 10 025) with a thickness of 10 mm (1kg ~ 10N). A maximum deviation of -10% compared to the specified value is possible in exceptional cases. Value is exceeded in general. Depending on the type of application (installation situation, temperatures, counter anchor etc.) the forces can be influenced enormously.
